A parent of a high school football player is accused of using his position as an official to influence his son's playoff game, according to a lawsuit filed in suburban Chicago: www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-simeon-nazareth-ihsa-lawsuit-20181119-story.htmlIf this is true, all the officials involved (especially the parent) should be banned for life & the Nazareth victory forfeited. This is the kind of conflict of interest that any official would duck away from even the microscopic appearance. And I'm not a lawyer, but the breach of contract element would have more bite than aggrieved fans trying to use the courts to simply overturn a bad call on the field.
