There was an intentional grounding called without the need for a crew conference. Mahomes was scrambling clearly out of the pocket but his throwaway clearly did not get to the LOS (6 to 8 yards short). On the replay you could see Hochuli dropping the flag right by Mahomes.

If Hoc (Jnr) did that I'd be surprised, he shouldn't be watching the end of the pass. Are you sure the short wing didn't say it was short on the O2O? What was the time and Q?

What was the time and Q? 1:01 Q2 - the short wing comes running in. There was another foul on the play, the TV flag graphic may have been for the hold, did Hoc throw that too?

He threw the flag right by Mahomes to mark the spot of the foul. It's possible Podraza was in contact with him as far as where the pass went/ eligible receivers. I don't think the holding call was his call.
