I’m a week late, but here’s a great AL.com story on the Kick Six and its aftermath. They interviewed five of the seven on-field officials. www.al.com/sports/2023/11/im-gonna-catch-it-and-run-the-story-of-the-kick-six-as-told-by-the-officials.html?outputType=ampThey talk about how LJ Mike Taylor was out of position to rule on whether Chris Davis stayed in bounds, and how Taylor is “still mad at the deep guys” for not warning him via O2O that there could be a return. BJ Steve Patrick knew a return might be coming because of what Davis said to him just before the kick. Patrick expresses some regret for not warning his LOS officials. Taylor declined to comment for the story.

What great insight from the crew. I always said I thought his foot was very close to the sideline. It was so chaotic I never remembered hearing they reviewed the foot out of bounds. I am glad to hear Matt Austin say they did.
Great job by the crew in the face of utter chaos!

I am glad to hear Matt Austin say they did. Great job by the crew in the face of utter chaos! I agree! They did a terrific job. Matt was very candid, saying that he thought replay incorrectly overturned two important calls earlier in the game. I also thought it was interesting that the security guy thought fans would strip Matt of his hat, whistle, and flag for souvenirs!
