First off, I want to say that this just popped up in my YouTube feed minutes ago, and secondly, if you watch this video the whole way through, is this going to be a really bad look for the NFL?

You mean an official in the league was a football fan prior? Shocking.

This slog gives click bait a bad name. Spare yourself.
There is no "there" there.
When Mike Pereira was hired as a SJ in the NFL, he phoned his dad to tell him he made it. Pereira recalled that his dad told him, "Son, I have one thing to say. Don't (screw) the 49ers."
So, should Pereira have been disqualified from working in the NFL?
Jeff Bergman jumped on the field at Three Rivers Stadium to celebrate the Immaculate Reception when he was a high school student. I guess the NFL should never have hired him......and fired his dad.

Well, I will give props to his ability to vamp 30 seconds of content into a 15-minute video and somehow monetize said video that is exclusively NFL copyrighted clips to the level that he can quit his day job. (And now he's up OVER 40 MINUTES!) I initially ignored this, thinking this was the 2012 scab situation.
At the officiating camps, they are spending time telling people to clean up their socials and don't wear your conference shirt to ANYTHING, lest you wind up on some asshat's video.
A gigantic nothingburger that I skip-watched to get the gist of it, in case some chucklehead site decides to give him some wind in his sails. Looks like it will die down, but it will always be on Youtube.

I’ve seen this YouTubers stuff before. He’ll take something trivial and turn it into a 20 minute clickbait video. More to just stir the pot.
