Questionable personal foul call in the Potato Bowl. Punt receiver makes a pointing signal then catches the punt. Kicking team player makes a clean tackle soon thereafter and is flagged.
I agree with shutting the play down due to an invalid signal but this player does not have fair catch protection.

Invalid fair catch doesn't give the receiver any protection, unless there was unnecessary roughness on this tackle. Don't know where this crew came from, some Atlantic something or other, but they are not very impressive. Kind of surprised they'd get an assignment. Every time WMU gets a good play, out comes the yellow, they continue to self destruct and keep giving this crew reason to throw the yellow.

Completely inexcusable of the C-USA replay Official to not review that last TD by BYU. Runner was clearly down around the three yard line and it was called TD on the field and confirmed by the replay Official with out even taking a longer look and talking to Wayne Winkler, I just don't understand how a replay Official could not look at that play.

Disgraceful. The game was over, so by rule, the officiating crew's duties were over and unlike hockey, they didn't have to officiate the post-game brawl. I hope the NCAA, the team's conferences or (if they value sportsmanship or "teaching moments") each school bars these teams from a bowl the next time they're eligible.

While I agree the conduct was disgraceful I think your proposed solution is overkill. That is putting one brawl on the level of severe recruiting/eligibility violations or covering up a sex scandal. I think the school needs to remind the players of their responsibility as ambassadors for the school and take appropriate discipline with the appropriate players (the guy from BYU who sucker punched a Memphis player who was being restrained by a Memphis coach should have more discipline than the player who got into he scrum to pull players out, got pummeled and defended himself)

A handling of kick catch interference at the Boca Raton Bowl. The officials also had to break up some pushing and shoving. This was near the end of the first half. They eventually got it right but it was very delayed and looked bad.

John McDaid with a nice tan going during the Bahamas Bowl Luckiest assignment of the year for ANY crew- Pro, college or high school...in ANY sport. I mean come on - the Bahamas for Christmas? I'd be be keeping my flag DEEP in my pocket...which from looking at the first half, seems to be happening.

Hawaii for Christmas is pretty sweet as well. Lol! Crazy finish to the Bahamas Bowl. Shame CMU didn't get the 2 pt try to win!

I really like Land Clark's style.
In the Heart of Dallas bowl, the deep officials are.letting a lot go. The crew missed a DPI that allowed a LA Tech pick six.

Michael Batlan and the rest of his Pac-12 crew are absolutely horrible. LSU clearly scored a TD at the end of the 1st half and both Batlan and the replay official blew it.

Very cold, windy and miserable weather t the Foster Farms bowl in San Francisco. The crowd is a rumor as well.
