The Poinsettia bowl crew did a good job last night. I was really impressed with Stremling's mic work. He might have the potential to move up to the Big 12 or Pac-10 within the next few years.

Florida International V Toledo- Ron Cherry (ACC) Sure is a fall from grace for Cherry. 2 years ago, he worked the BCS Title Game (Florida-Oklahoma).

Crew did a nice job in the game. Alternate B Dale Shaw came in and had a number of tough spots at the end of the game as he worked L.
Not really a fall from grace for Cherry, though.........a bowl is a great honor and the same guy shouldn't always get the top spot for a conference year after year when there are others who are deserving!

The Independence Bowl was the type of game that you love working as an official: 2 teams that like to run the ball and not take many shots downfield. The deep officials could have taken the day off and everything would have been fine.
Crew did a good job today.

Champs Sports Bowl referee is John O'Neill (Big Ten). His crew is wearing the long sleeve shirts with the knickers, not the black pants. Also, I am kind of shocked I thought O'Neill would have the NC Game.

John McDaid and the Big East crew working the Military Bowl (ECU-Maryland) have had their hands full so far. Lots of personal fouls.
