I'm assuming that FF7 is still on the road, so here's the MNF observations thread.
Ed Hochuli's crew on the call.

Wrolstad had a bad flag when he called offsetting pass interference penalties. I think that's one of those situations where you have to keep your flag tucked in.
Hochuli botched the announcement on that one, too.

Seems like you just pick up the flag and move along there. I would bet that's a first right there.

Sorry assumed it is incomplete seeing as there was DPI and OPI, was it blatant or just sort of both players slapping hands and what not?

The OPI was most likely the push off on B's back.
The DPI I think was B initiating and steering A towards the sideline.

Hmm, I want to see a video of that. Always looking to learn.
Was it 2 different officials who called this or just one making both calls?

20 MNF for Ed, wow. and his voice cracked on the call announcement at 4:16. bummer.

GREAT DPI call against New Orleans early in the 4th quarter. 2 officials had flags.

Has Ed been sick? My wife said he does not look good.

Has Ed been sick? My wife said he does not look good. He's definitely starting to show his age.

I really don't care for Mr. Gruden's blatant disdain for officials.

The crew completely fell apart at the end of this game. First, they incorrectly ruled that a Saints receiver fumbled the ball when he was CLEARLY down before he lost the ball, and a few minutes later, they gave Pierre Thomas an extra yard when his knee was CLEARLY down at least a yard short of the line to gain.
The first play was challenged and correctly overturned, but the second play wasn't reviewable because the play didn't result in a 1st down. This was a grievous error by both wing officials, and reveals yet another flaw in our current instant replay system.
Hochuli himself didn't have a bad game, but he did botch a couple of mic announcements. Overall, I give the crew a grade of "C-"
