FF7 will be away from a computer until MNF.
What crews did you see? What did you think of them?

I'll be looking forward to the MNF game. I hope to catch a little SNF. FF7's football watching this weekend will be below average!

Scott Edwards gets an upgrade in my book. Steve Smith scored a TD and a New Orleans player hit him about 5 yards after he scored and Edwards was right there to flag him.

I agree with timjohnson. The Saints-Panthers game is getting to be very chippy. It looks like John Parry's crew is going to have their hands full. Besides the roman Harper hit on Steve Smith, Mark Ingram was correctly flagged for taunting after a Saints touchdown.

I just saw the highlight of the Steve Smith TD. Roman Harper should have been ejected.

Most pointless observation of the day:
If Tony Michalek were his U instead of Bill Schuster, the numbers on Gene Steratore's crew would be 25, 105, 106, 107, 114, 115, and 116.

Must have been a great weekend for the officials....hardly any complaints today. Bogar did Jets-Pats and there didn't seem to be any problems......

Well Triplette hasn't worked yet and Winter is off this week...
Strange call in Denver. Rivers had the ball stripped out of his hand as he was throwing but it rested against his forearm and he "threw" the ball though he wasn't in possession of it. Originally called incomplete, challenged by Denver and reversed to a fumble by Steratore.

Steratore's crew gets a 3.9 from me. I have a hard time giving a crew a perfect score for any game, because there's no such thing as a "perfectly" officiated game.

Coleman has a miserable game in Buffalo. One miserable spot overturned on replay, an obvious no-fumble that was initially called correctly, then overturned, then overturned again on replay, and both teams got away with blocks in the back and holding all day.
It wasn't a good day for them to have an off week, as Roger Goodell was in attendance.
