Riveron's crew on the call tonight. FF7 will be trick or treating with the kids tonight and then trying to get them calmed down for bed. I don't know how much of this game I'll see, so be sure to observe away for me!

Riveron just upheld a play that clearly should have been overturned. A KC runner was ruled to have fumbled, but multiple angles showed that his elbow and rear were on the ground before the ball came loose.
Not sure which replay Riveron was looking at.

Ron Phares also missed an incomplete catch in front of him and Greg Steed had to come in from the far side to rule it incomplete. Those who complain about Riveron, I now understand why.

And now Phares calls a crappy PF on SD for hitting a defense receiver when it wasn't malicious.
This crew really is bad.

Very questionable unnecessary roughness penalty called against San Diego. The defender led with his shoulder and hit the receiver in the mid-section. While the receiver may have been somewhat defenseless, I don't think the hit was malicious.

Scott Edwards, FJ3, with an iffy personal foul call on a Charger's player. Looked bad in real time but it was a glancing blow on replay.

Agree with the first OPI on SD but not the 2nd. Both players were pushing off.

I watched some of this game.
I don't know why there is such negativity towards Riveron. He always seems to be doing well when I see him.

I do enjoy watching Ron Phares work.

Ah yes, nothing will cause an official to change his mind and cause him to throw a DPI flag like a QB running 30 yards downfield screaming and crying for one......
