The MAC is part of the Midwest Alliance (Big 10, MAC, Missouri Valley [formerly Gateway]) and part of the alliance's mission is to be able to move officials from conference to conference. Usually it's to give a younger official a look at the Big 10, but it can work the other way. I wouldn't view this as a demotion, but just part of the Midwest Alliance's way to doing things.

Gotcha, so when Big Ten refs are off on a cerain week it is possible they are working a MVC or MAC Game? I know the Big 12 and MWC have a similar alliance. I have seen many of the Big 12 Refs work MWC games this year as well.

CFO-West officials (B12, MWC, & Southland) were the first.

Any idea who will get the nod for VT@GT tomorrow night? I've got fingers crossed for Brad Allen.

Obviously seeing stuff from the stands is iffy at best, but Brad and co missed some big stuff, including an OBVIOUS ejection for a punch to the Hokies QB's head. by GT 45
