Richard Seymour ejected by Mike Carey for a personal foul in the 3rd quarter. Video: bit.ly/td3FTBIt's pretty clear that the league decided to clamp down on non-football actions.

And, Carey is very strict and does not put up with much guff.

I wasn't really able to watch the Bears-Chiefs that much so I can't really give a grade. It was a poorly played game by both teams which at times can make a crew look ragged.

Boger allowing KC to pick-up a challenge flag after he had announced that they were challenging a play, having a completed pass ruled incomplete 8 seconds after the initial call (and then challenged and correctly changed back to complete,) and Boger himself being 2 feet from his HL on the sideline at the snap are examples from today's game of why he and his crew are dreadful. Steratore is the only talent among them.

Steratore is the only talent among them. I think his crewmates are good. While not as severe as mdhutton in my thoughts, I must say seeing Boger officiate does not inspire confidence. Maybe it is because he is soft-spoken (unfair on my part) or maybe some of his games have jumped the tracks in the past. It seems like Boger's crew carries him on game day and when the game calls for the white hat to step up and assert control, Boger sometimes doesn't deliver.

Now watching Triplette work Packers-Giants. I'll have to leave to go to my officials' banquet before the end of this one and I'll be back shortly after SNF starts.

hard to tell for sure on that challenge but it looked like his knee hit in bounds just short of the sideline and slid out

Mike Carey was working with Tony Corrente's crew in Miami. Will Tony Corrente be back this year?

Lovie Smith and Spencer Tillman disagree with a defensive holding call by Jerry Bergman, Jr.

Wing signals incomplete, with no whistle, on a NYG offensive play by the QB. Triplette has no call. The U does nothing, but waits for GB to recover, then signals GB ball.
It's under review. But it won't be overturned to an incomplete pass.

FANTASTIC call by Triplette ruling an "empty hands" fumble against Eli Manning.

But it won't be overturned to an incomplete pass. Podraza just about blew it big time. He didn't signal incomplete with authority, just kind of twitched his arms a little bit. He'll be saying a prayer of thanks that he didn't put air in that whistle.
