Drippy night in the Meadowlands for Anderson's crew.

James Coleman, SJ95, with an easy block in the back call. It was during the kick which made for a different enforcement (end of kick instead of spot foul) that was nicely enforced.

Terry Brown (FJ #43) was the Umpire in Atlanta today... YES, I said that correctly...
Paul King was in Oakland.

Terry Brown (FJ #43) was the Umpire in Atlanta today... YES, I said that correctly... Paul King was in Oakland. The McAulay crew was off. So King was in for DeFelice, Stritesky was in for Bryan, and Brown was in for Stritesky. Is that right? It appears that Bryan was out this week.

I believe it was Coleman who also had a great call with an illegal touch which caused a touchback since it was inside the 5

Morelli's crew just missed a facemask in Denver that might have an impact. I think that the U positioning is somewhat responsible for the miss, but Morelli should have seen the grabing of the back of the helmet. Pereira tweets that, in his opinion, it should have been a flag. Didn't mention U in the backfield as a factor, but the ground camera angle was giving you the look the U WOULD have had in his traditional position........ That was my point, no one has that angle anymore for most of the game, so I guess things like that can be missed.

A little behind of SNF as I'm watching on DVR. Good DPI call by Billy Smith on Dallas #20 at the end of the first quarter.

Crazy fumble that Manning fell on at about the 9:00 mark of the second quarter. Nice job by Anderson and Hannah to be on it (and stay out of the way!).

Anderson's crew had a GREAT game tonight. The fouls that they called were there, and they didn't make ticky-tack calls and make themselves bigger than the game.
Grade: 3.8

Anderson's crew gets a 3.85 for me. They really called a good game.
