Toledo player ejected from the Potato Bowl. He's bawling on the sidelines.

The ACC crew in the New Mexico Bowl did a solid job overall in a wild game to start the bowl season.

Crew working the Little Caesers bowl ought to go back to youth football, if it wouldn't be too difficult for them to handle.....7 or 8 ticky tack flags, 3 in succession in the FIRST quarter, it's going to be a long night. give them a -1.0 rating Another post said Epperly has this game....how did he ever get a bowl game, much less a Div 1 position, this guy is terrible.

Crew was average for the 2nd half (only part I saw) ... he was the R for the UM-FSU game and got suspended for misinterupting a timeout situation. Also, he's an ACC referee, yet he does not referee VT games because he lives in neighboring Giles Co, and works in Blacksburg, as well as GIVES MONEY TO THE VT ATHLETIC DEPT so that his kids can have season tickets. haha. I'd give them a 2.6 from what I saw

Epperley got suspended for failing to properly administer a 10-second runoff at the end of the first half of the Miami-Florida State game. I'm still astounded that he got a bowl game despite the suspension.

Did anyone pick up on Novak asking the clock operator to put 5:00 on the clock at the start of OT? Perhaps I misheard, but that made no sense.

The MAC crew has had their hands full with the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas. Several scrums and one ejection.

Since many scoreboards can't show quarter numbers higher than 4, they put up the "period number" as the minutes on the clock. This way the coaches tape can differentiate between plays that happen in extra periods.

Solid job by the MAC crew last night. Some of these games that seem to turn into flag fests can be hard to watch, much the less officiate. But, that was about as well controlled by the officials considering guys on both sides were somewhere between out of control and just playing senselessly most of the night.

I thought that was a first down at the end of the first half in the Alamo Bowl. It was at least close enough for a measurement

Watching the Sun Bowl with a Big 10 crew (Lemonier) and I believe it was the BJ ruled a USC field goal good when it was obviously wide left w/o question. It went to replay and was reversed. I don;t believe I have ever seen that and it amazes me how that can be missed.
