More great games, more blah replacements.
Who did you see? What did you think?

are the officials banned from calling defensive holding/pass interference? It's been that way all over the league from the first week on!

First half at Giants Stadium....exactly what we've come to expect from the scabs. For the most part they nailed the obvious calls, they kept the game moving, didn't see any administrative mistakes regarding the clock and time outs. All the crews seem reluctant to call much down field unless it is 1000% obvious (frankly as a fan, I think those rules lead to a very choppy game and are called too closely although this is not a criticism of the regular guys. Too closely calling those illegal contact jhobs make a very unentertaining games at least to my view point but that's me).
I'm sure some will come out at how they missed 5 holding calls (especially if you're a Giants fan) and I'm sure they missed a couple. All in all, not enough to force that phone call from Park Avenue Monday morning to Scott Green to come in and talk but there is a second half to be played.

As a fan, I would rather see too few pass interference calls than too many. There's nothing worse than a frivolous pass interference when it was just good defense.

One thing that these guys are consistently missing - resetting the play clock after administrative delays. I've seen that at least four times in the last two weeks.

Too many errors to address...NFL games are a joke! NFL-Not For Long if they continue to use this garbage to officiate the games. I absolutely can't see how even the casual fan doesn't see that there is no fairness in the games anymore. Besides the countless missed calls, game flow soooooo bad that its painful to watch.

Eagles Ravens-Refs call OPI instead of DPI taking away Ravens TD. Throws his bean bag instead of flag...Enforces 15 yds. instead of the correct 10 yds. Harbaugh straightens it out. UNBELIEVABLE! This was some of their best work!

Not the most articulate explanation but right call on replay by Jim Core. His crew is not that good, but Core actually has some skill

Didn't watch the game but according to my Twitter feed, the crew in the Eagles-Ravens game had a rough day. I guess the game was really chippy and should have had multiple ejections, but nothing came of it.

I don't think it was DPI in the Ravens/Eagles game, but as an Eagles fan, I feel like they got away with one on the OPI call. And Harbaugh being the only one that knows the yardage on OPI is embarrassing. The game was very close to getting out of control in the first half and players acted like they knew nobody would get tossed. The administrative delays were the worst. At least 7-10 times the game was delayed for an extended period while they figured out spots or clock issues.
Oh, I forgot about the incomplete pass that was thrown by Vick near the end that the crew called a fumble on the field. The arm clearly came forward and the pass went about 5 yards and they still ruled it a fumble. Of course it got reversed, but that took about 5 minutes to sort out.

As for the Ravens-Eagles, it was the worst officiated game I've ever seen at any level that I can recall in my mind right now. I know slightly more than the average fan about the rules, and i probably called about 80% of the penalties in that game before the flags came flying... the Vick forward pass was a joke, and the OPI on the Ravens receiver should have been a no-call in my opinion...
