Inexcusable for them to miss that one. I don't know if there will be any disciplinary action here, but can't imagine what would happen if a crew screwed the pooch this bad during an important late-season or postseason game.

How do they not have bigger monitors for these guys to look at? They may as well be using a 1980s kitchen TV to review calls.

Culbreth and crew suspended two games for their mis-application of the rules It's a shame because Culbreth is a great umpire who never wants to be the center of attention, but the suspension seems fair. This was a major mis-application of a rule that isn't that complex. I hope Culbreth isn't looked at in too much of a different light because he is probably one of the ten best Umpires in the MLB, but this was inexcusible. I knew this rule.

19" screen that is not HDTV compatible? I think we should be a little more forgiving of Angel for this one. That is a poor effort by MLB. This system needs to be revamped. If they don't want to hire replay officials, then centralize it in NYC.
