What crews did you see? What did you think of them?
Weather is expected to be terrible so we might see some interesting football.

I think you will see a lot of officials on different crews because of the weather. Ron Baynes Jr. is with Green today.
I would assume Triplette's crew will still make it to Detroit.

Another decent explanation by Steratore with the 3 "potential" fouls.
Although I think he gave the wrong signal for Illegal Contact. He gave an Illegal Block signal. Shouldn't the signal be just the arm extended?

He signaled block in the back on the intercepting team.
GREAT explanation.

I don't think Coleman and Co. are doing that well with the roughing penalties, especially two particular hits on Ben Roethlesberger.

NFL Officials told to Boycott Conference Call.... Cause they only are paid on the Weekends.... But... they work Thursday Night Games & Monday Night Games ;D Is Jay Glazer's representation of the situation true? Is there actually a conference call, did the union president tell them to boycott it, and if all that's true, was that the reason why? And would he have a problem with it if the players did something similar?

Scott Green just had to enact the "Hochuli Rule" - Browns QB had the ball knocked out of his hand before the arm was going forward, but Green called it incomplete. Was reversed on replay, even though the whistle had blown before the fumble was recovered.

They just did a live look-in at Soldier Field. The weather conditions will be very similar to the tuck rule game weather conditions 10 years ago.

NFL Officials told to Boycott Conference Call.... Cause they only are paid on the Weekends.... But... they work Thursday Night Games & Monday Night Games ;D I see the concerns from the NFL officials. What if Hochuli was scheduled for court, Carey had a big corporate merger meeting, or Morelli had to monitor a classroom when a teacher had to leave on an emergency? A call for a "boycott" might be too much of a thing to do; however, NFL officiating is not their bread and butter, they have work outside of the NFL. Of course that opens up another whole new topic to debate.....

Scrap at the end of the Bengals-Steelers game. Unacceptable nonsense. The officials were involved in breaking things up.
No fouls since time had expired.

The big key to the game today will be a SLOW WHISTLE! Visibility will make it hard to distinguish the ball.
Also if someone commits a late hit, it might be because a player slips and falls on the prone player. Judgment will be key.
What a miserable day.
