Instant replay properly overturns a Bob Davidson play at first. It was close but correct. Red Sox manager John Farrell come out to argue the replay decision with Davidson and was properly ejected.

That's the first EJ for arguing a replay ruling, correct? (even we all know it was about yesterday) Its gonna be a bumpy summer...

I don't understand what Farrell wad arguing here. The TV replays clearly showed that the runner was safe and there was another conclusive angle that was shown on the stadium scoreboard.

Bob Davidson ejects Matt Carpenter for arguing balls and strikes. For those of us who have seen Davidson's temperament over the years, he has mellowed remarkably ever since being disciplined for aggressively arguing with Charlie Manuel last year. If this were 10 years ago, Matheney would have been ejected in a nose-to-nose screaming match. m.mlb.com/video/v32082047/stltex-carpenter-gets-tossed-for-arguing/?query=ejection
