Diaz has developed a confrontational attitude over the last few years. He baited both Girardi and Kelly into those ejections. From what I heard, Diaz gave Girardi the "Dikembe Mutumbo" finger wag which is why he was so upset.
No need for him to bait managers and players like that. Joe Maddon was barking at Doug Eddings from the get-go on Saturday and Eddings did not bait Maddon at any point.

Davidson was suspended in 2012 for similiar actions.

Once again, the NHL is miles ahead of the other sports. On NHL.com, every call made by the situation room is posted, along with a video tape and the official decision one way or the other. MLB should do the same thing on its web site as well as the NFL!

Sorry. I didn't see it. The NHL one is clear on the home page of nhl.com under situation room blog. Is it as clear on mlb.com? If so, I missed it. Mea culpa. The NFL should do the same thing btw.
