I also heard issues with the Roof too. That's what I'm seeing on a handful of blogs as well. If snow causes the roof to collapse, I would vastly prefer that there was not 60,000 people sitting under it at the time. WK #14 2010 Games to watch with SNOW!!!!!!!!!Bengals VS Steelers - Walt Coleman Browns VS Bills - Scott Green Patriots VS Bears - Mike Carey I hate to burst your bubble, as I LOVE the good, old-fashioned snowstorm game, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for Buffalo-the National Weather Service is saying rain (a lot of it). Pittsburgh might get a little bit of snow, but it's supposed to be later in the afternoon. Chicago however, looks to be the most hopeful. Oh, how I hope I get to see a blizzard game. Keep your fingers crossed. Hi Melkaman, Yes I saw just rain for sure with Browns VS Bills.. That will be miserable Patriots VS Bears for sure Snow, but I do think there will be Snow during Benglas VS Steelers.. I will be flipping back and forth with my DIRECTV/NFL Ticket .... Becky

There must have been a significant issue with the officials being able to make it and/or the Giants squawking about having to blow into town on game day to and play (not that I blame them). I also think the Vikings didn't want to play in front of a 2/3 empty stadium..... FF7, I also heard issues with the Roof too. Troy_Aikman The weather is not postponing the game...the roof is LEAKING.

Not sure who has the Giants-Vikings game, but maybe Referee Magazine will do a story about their adventure like they did about Leavy's crew's adventure last year.

It's bad now (6:30AM) and will only deteriorate as the day moves along. You will get your wish !

I understand Jeff Triplette's crew has Giants-Vikings. Like everyone else, they're just going to have to wait and see when and possibly where the game is played. By the way, that was an excellent article Bill Leavy wrote about his adventure getting to Baltimore last year.

BULLETIN: ABC News is reporting that the roof of the Hubert Humphrey Metrodome has collapsed! The Minneapolis Star-Tribune has confirmed that Monday night's game at the Metrodome has been cancelled. The NFL is working on an alternate location for the game-either at the University of Minnesota's stadium (an open-air facility) or another nearby domed NFL stadium (maybe Ford Field?)

Ohhhhh NFL Network just showed Soldier Field... WOW!!!! Windchill is ZERO Degrees & the workers are going back and forth with their shovels on the trap covering the field, and they are taking blow torches to the seats in the stands to get the Ice off of them. Here's the field pic - maintenance crew doubled today but wind making it tough to keep snow off tarp twitpic.com/3fbax8

My CBS affiliate just went off the air. They'd better get their act together (and keep it together) for the Bears game!
BTW: Gene Steratore in Detroit
