What crews did you see? What did you think of them?

Ed Hochuli will have fun in Jacksonville. The grounds crew painted the directional arrows on the yard lines the wrong direction.

Rob Vernatchi getting teased by TV for wearing long sleeves in Cleveland. Not sure where Ruben Fowler is as Rob is in the offensive backfield. I know Fowler was on ESPN's Not Top 10 for stumbling when trying to spot the ball last week in Oakland.

Rough 2 weeks for him.

Very good reversal of a completed pass/fumble call by Riveron on review, fixed the clock and administered the penalty in a timely fashion.

TUCK RULE ALERT......
Andy Dalton fumbles, picked up by Buf returned for a 13 yard TD. Cincy challenges and Steratore invokes the tuck rule.
Oh and NE and Oak play today.

Nice explanation on the dumb penalty by the Texans on a blocked FG. Blakeman should be a SB ref someday.

It's October. The officials are wearing the Breast Cancer uniform accessories.
Watching McAulay in Chicago.

Just switched over to Steelers/Texans just in time to watch a Houston pick six wiped out on a RTP. Texan defender came in at big Ben's knees. Good call.

I though MacAulay's crew did a pretty good job. The only issue I had was the OPI on Jeremy Shockey that negated a Panthers touchdown. This was possibly one of those that looked worse in real time than it really was. By the way, Jimmy Buchanan filled in for Terry Brown as field judge on Macaulay's crew.

I didn't see any glaring problems with any of the early game officiating. Particular props go to the crews of Steratore and Blakeman.

Blakeman had a great game. Houston had 2 TDs called back but they were justified penalties.

Just had a simultaneous possession involving Boger's crew in the Giants-Cardinals game. Correctly ruled a completion to Larry Fitzgerald even though Giants DB Deon Grant touched the ball first and then Fitzgerald wrestled him to the ground for the ball.
