Good game by Green's crew in GB. Good reversal on a Rodgers scrambling TD that was originally marked short.
The game was over early in the third quarter but everyone did a good job.
3.6

On Al Riveron and Co. at the Eagles' game, I'd grade the crew a 3.8, and give Alberto Riveron a 4.0. Everything was spot-on.

And let the controversy on Boger's 4th quarter in Arizona begin......
If NYG wins, Boger can get a good deal from Ron Blum on golfing packages in Arizona in January.

I am a Giants fan but I think Bergman botched that

I'll say this for Boger...there are a lot of cities where beer bottles would be flying en masse after that call. Giving himself up!?!? MP not exactly thrilled with the judgment, citing Plaxico Burress correctly. I have no rooting interest in this game, but it would be justice for the Cardinals to win after that.

Even MP called the ruling stupid.

That was a really tough call to make.
Instead of chastising and criticizing Boger, why don't we pin this on Bergman? He was the one on the call. Boger probably didn't even see what happened.

Grade for the crew is 0.0....you just can't make an error like that at that stage of the game...it wasn't even close.

Bergman is a veteran who should have known better.

I thought Boger's crew had a pretty good game overall. The call near the end of the game results in a big downgrade for Bergman, though.
Overall grade: 2.8.

Giants WR stumbled as if he tripped over his own two feet without being touched. After going to the ground, and not touched, flips ball to ground. Cardinals recover. Officials rule Giants ball. Cardinals coach challenges, Boger announces play not reviewable as WR had given himself up. Bergman was right on top of it and I believe, even though my team benefitted, blew the call worse than when Steve Wilson had an INT right in front of him that he ruled incomplete pass

Boger's crew was awful all game to both sides but that final call stunned me What happened? On the drive that led to the Giants winning touchdown, a quick pass over the middle. The receiver was contacted but maintained for about 5 more yards and then slipped to the ghround and left the ball there. He had not been touched. Arizonoa recovered. The Giants knew what had happened and tried to quickly run a play but the Cardinals coach got the red flag thrown. They go to replay and MP is explaining it's clearly should be ruled a fumble. Suddenly Boger gets on the mic and says the ruling on the field is the runner had given himself up (ha ha) and that is not challengeable. MP rightr then and there said it was a blown call. On the next play the Giants scored the winning touchdown. It wasn't even close, that's the problem. It was right there in the open and not the kind of play officials should miss.
