Good point, far to many athletes today are pampered, cry baby egoists who think the game is all about them. They forget there is no "I"in TEAM. I always liked the way Barry Sanders would score a touchdown, run over to the covering official and hand him the ball and return to the team huddle. That was what I always thought was a touch of class, respect for the game and all involved.

They can all take a lesson fro Tim Howard. For those of you who don't follow real football, Howard is the goalkeeper for the US Men's National team and plays for Everton n the Barclay's Premiere League. A couple of weeks ago, thanks to an extraordinary windy day, he actually scored a goal against the other team's goalkeeper when the ball bounced freakishly high in the air and over the other team's goalkeeper into the goal. His teammates rushed hm wanting to high 5 him and the like and he pushed them away telling them he felt for the other goalkeeper and didn't want to show joy from somebody else's misery. Now that's the kind of professionalism we mist from all our sporfts over here (and there too for the most part).
