Glad to see that Andy was able to return.

Yikes. There was no pause in the stretch. That has to be a balk.

I agree this has to be a balk, but I think Emmel has the worst angle of all four umpires with a righty on the hill. Scott Barry at second or Jerry Meals at third must make this call. I don't even umpire and the first time I saw this in real time I knew this was a balk.

These two teams are ALWAYS having problems with each other. I guarantee this won't be the end of it...

Cannot say I agree with this ejection, but Marty Foster runs the Blue Jays starting pitcher for throwing in to Ian Kinsler. My disagreement is based on two things. The first being why would Alvarez try to hit Kinsler with two outs on a 1-2 pitch? I know the Rangers had just hiback to back to back homers, but why wait until the count was 1-2 to try & hit him? The second being later in the game both Kinsler & Gentry were actually hit by pitchers and neither Jay reliever who hit them were ejected. mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=21771419

Terrible ejection by Foster. He has consistently showed bad judgement in situations like this. Last year he ejected Kyle Weiland making his major league debut with the Red Sox because for some reason he thought he would try to hit somebody rather than qualify for his first career win. He had been wild that whole game. This situation was also handled poorly by Foster. Why would Alvarez try to hit somebody in a 5-4 game with a 2-2 count. Just makes no sense.

Foster is turning into a young Bob Davidson. Over the last few years, he's had several egregious ejections and seems to like drawing attention to himself. I can't stand the way he chews tobacco on the field either.
That ejection was RIDICULOUS. The pitch, while inside, wasn't really that close to hitting Kinsler and wasn't aimed at his head.

Bang-bang call but incorrect. I'm very impressed with Porter's comportment during all the noise at first....

It was, though, a horrible call. What the first base umpire was watching is beyond me.
