Pretty ugly display by Chris Young in Pittsburgh tonight: mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=23742095&c_id=mlbWhat wasn't shown is Justin Upton got tossed for tossing a helmet in the general direction of Vanover during the Young hissy fit. Marquez happened to see it, so it was goodnight Mr. Upton as well! And give Kirk Gibson credit for probably saving Young from doing something even MORE stupid.

The Nationals' announcers reported that Dale Scott suffered a concussion, which does not come as a surprise. His spot on the crew was filled by Mike Muchlinski. Muchlinski worked second base while C.B. Bucknor, who finished Friday night's game behind home plate, worked third base.

Watch closely at 1:45. Bob Davidson had to duck out of the way of Welke's ejection signal! ;D ;D

I'm sure they were also concerned about jaw and other dental injuries. He was really in pain and looked out of it going off the field......

I'm sure they were also concerned about jaw and other dental injuries. He was really in pain and looked out of it going off the field...... The geek is me would like to see a Mythbusters episode where they tell us the force that is exerted onto the mask on a play like this. And then compare this with other events that we're familiar with/seen, such as a left hook.
