Scab rules romo down as tampa recovers an obvious fumble for TD. Replay gives the ball to Tampa but can't give them the advance for TD..Bucs come away with no points. BTW-CJ-I couldn't care less about pensions etc.--my concern is that these scabs are atrocious and NFL football is a joke! My personal feeling would be that the real refs should not only continue to demand the pension they were promised...they should be asking for new cars and beach houses!!This is ridiculous!

Ken Roan just allowed the Niners to challenge when they had no timeouts and they won the challenge and got the ball. After the challenge 1 timeout mysteriously showed up for the niners. There was mass confusion in Minnesota.

And now they allow the Niners to challenge again. Second challenge they have used without having any timeouts. Ridiculous!

zebrablog tweet:
LJ kills snap on NYJ wildcat, then recants 2 sec later & signals reset play clock to 25. Element of surprise foiled

I can't keep up with this. Thanks to FF7, I've already posted here Won't be surprised if Ken Roan's crew is on a bye next week. They presided over the Monday night meltdown, and could've reversed the result of a game with an improper challenge. Would like to know who the game supervisor is. This could have, should have, must be avoided!

Clear down by contact in NO allowed to continue. Saints recover fumble for TD. Under review and it'll come back. I could see that one in real time................
in OT by the way.
Dierdorf: "I didn't see any official make a call. The referee said the previous play is under review, but he didn't tell us what the call was."

A lot of the crews have been better this week than last week, but this is three weeks in a row that Ken Roan's crew has been atrocious. I agree zebrablog, with teams on bye weeks next week that means 2 crews? have byes. Roan's crew should be given a bye week. They need to refresh themseleves on the rules becuase this crew in particular has no clue.

Gerald Wright had a puzzling overturn in Tennessee. The call was a catch on the field and revesed to incomplete. I did not see the ball hit the ground at all and even if it did there was nothing close to indisputable video evidence. Crew has been pretty good in general though. That game is also in OT.

Agree Russ. I never saw that ball touch the ground with the shots TV gave us.

From the Redskins game: usat.ly/PdiqXfThere was confusion over whether a false start penalty against the Skins should have resulted in an automatic clock runoff that would have ended the games. Officials said that since it was considered a dead-ball foul, there was no run-off. The Bengals were sent back to their bench, but the Redskins were assessed an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against an unidentified player. That pushed Washington into their own territory and a last-gasp pass by Griffin was well short of the end zone.

Jet game crew had a real tough game to work.....thought they missed the roughing the kicker which should at worst have been running into the kicker...also we all keep having trouble with when is a catch a catch...I thought that playt should have been overturned to no catch on the 7 yard line immediatey before the Miami second touchdown....they called a couple of iffy pass interferences but they called them including one on the tying field goal drive by the Dolphins...a regular crew would have been under the gun big time in that game....no obvious administrative errors. In this game, the teams were worse than the officials. Give them a C+ on the game.
