Well, let's see how this week goes. What crews did you see and what did you think of them?

David Scott crew in long sleeves in Cleveland. It is pretty cold there, 51 degrees. Hughes crew is in short sleeves in 56 degree Chicago. I guess Hughes crew is the Ed Hochuli or Bill Leavy in that those guys rarely wear long sleeves unless it is absolutely freezing, man I miss them.

This thread is strangely quiet. I'm watching the Jet game and frankly you wouldn't know there were replacement officials working the game. I'm sure sharper eyes than mine will claim there have been a plethora of blown calls but I haven't seen any. If this is the way it goes around the league, well some of the regular guys might begin having second thoughts.

Kent Roan's crew called a block in the back on the kicking team on the opening kickoff in Minnesota.

Bogus roughing the kicker in Miami on a punt in the end zone. Punter took a dive and ref called roughing.

Their instrucvtions are wehen in doubt make the call.

Shouldn't have been a penalty, but if you ding 'em for the punter going down, it should be the 5 yard variety, unless you actually see some dangerous activity

Usually a rule of thumb is if a defender gets the plant leg or body, it's roughing the kicker. If the defender gets the kicking leg, it's running into the kicker.

Just saw blown call in Washington game. Fumble by Cin recovered by Wash...gets up with clear path to the end zone...scab blows it dead! Hilarious body language. Terrible DPI calls continue across the league. Yeah yeah..even the regulars miss them, but NO WHERE NEAR this often!!Integrity of the game is dead and gone with these clowns!

Buzzy...it isn't going to do any good. If the officials want back, they're going to have to give on the pensions. At least that's the way it looks.

Pereira tweet:
It was a helmet to helmet hit on Romo and should have been called.
If I can find footage, I'll post it.
