Scab rules romo down as tampa recovers an obvious fumble for TD. Replay gives the ball to Tampa but can't give them the advance for TD..Bucs come away with no points. BTW-CJ-I couldn't care less about pensions etc.--my concern is that these scabs are atrocious and NFL football is a joke! My personal feeling would be that the real refs should not only continue to demand the pension they were promised...they should be asking for new cars and beach houses!!This is ridiculous! They were bad in several games but no factor in many others. The question still remains whether you or I like it or not, was it bad enogh for the league to cave? And finally the administrative error I'm reading about here where the third time out was called and then was it SF who had no TO's to challenge should have been corrected by tghe league supervisor if it happened the way it was described. Do they know the rules either? (I'm not defending the scabs...we'll just have to see again whether the league or officials cave or this merry go round goes on. Let's wait till the end of the day and we can discuss it in the professional reasonable friendly manner we've come to expect here.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! As long as the Fans pay $$$$ to watch.. they will keep going with the Tom & Jerry Cartoon show with replacement Officials.. This is not funny any more..

Also, redskins recover a fumble with @3:00 in 3rd Q...and gets up running for apparent TD. But wait...scab has killed the play before the recovery (mechanics & body language hilarious) but then switches to correct ruling that redskins did in fact recover the OBVIOUS fumble. However, when the grounded player recovered he is NO WHERE NEAR touched...so should have been allowed to return for score. Game tied at that time. A little later redskin player injured with 1:07 to play(redskins no TO's). Ref announces 10 sec runoff but never sees to it that the clock goes to :57...It never does! Amazing. I know CJ--this is the clock operators responsibility in your mind---not, it's the LJ. Mike P apologizes that he can't keep up with questions today with sooooo many "bizzare" things happening. Bad in several games, but OK in others...welcome to the new NFL standard of excellence!!Again, I couldn't care less about how this effects the labor stuff, but I am absolutely appalled that the league has forced this garbage product on the players, coaches and fans. If this continues, they should at least lower ticket prices from the current $160.00 average to lets say $20.00!!!

The very first play in the TB @ DAL game was a Dallas pass, which was incomplete. After the incomplete pass the clock continued to run & nobody noticed.

Unfortunately cball...that happens over & over in EVERY game. With the new officiating expectation, that is the LEAST of the problems!

If this continues, they should at least lower ticket prices from the current $160.00 average to lets say $20.00!!! Buzzy...for the umteenth time, I'm not the enemy. This will continue to go on until as you note the fans stop coming or one side caves. It's as simple as that. But all games contain errors, perhaps not as many in several games that seem to come in bunches. Down by contact has been blown many times in the past with the best of officials. That we have to live with no matter who the officials are. I don't defend administrative errors but for those I do blame the league as they claimed they would help out the scabs (I know from your perspective they shouldn't help the scabs) avoid them. I'm not defending them; the only thing I will say is that I don't watch sporting event to watch the officials which many do here and to emphasize that's everybody's perogative and I respect everybody here for it. I just hope we can keep this on a friendly professional manner without making it personal. This will be settled at some point and can you imagine the stink that will arise the first time a regular makes some sort of error. So...let's keep our disagreements friendly; it isn't worth raising our blood pressures over this. Or as my urologist told me last week when I was laid up with a kidney stone (for about the 4th time in the last 5 years), he looked at me deadly seriously and said, "Son (even though I'm probably twice his age), this too shall pass." Trust me, Buz, it will and life will go on.

Schaub hurt after two successive Denver roughing the passer calls. Missed only one play but Texans mad. Frump's crew might have to work hard to keep a lid on it.

The clock operators, of course, are not involved n a labor dispute. Yes, I know the line judge is supposed to keep one eye on the clock but where was the clock operator and what was he or she thinking?

I do believe that's a helmet to the facemask in the back of the PIT EZ.

He will be hearing from the league in the next few days. Is this hit ejectable though? I wouldn't think so myself but I wouldn't mind because Mays hit was so vicous and he was targeting Schaub. It almost looked like a "bounty" I hate to use that word again but it looked like many of those Saints hits and Schaub is injury prone. Luckily he was able to return to the game shortly after the hit.
