CJ-This is absolutely in no way personal. My only point is that these guys really are completely overmatched regardless of the "safety nets" the league has provided etc. The position that "the regular refs miss calls too" has already proven absurd after only 3 weeks! No reasonable person would even attempt to justify that position when you compare the quality of the real refs body of work over years vs. the body of work the scabs have managed in just 3 weeks!!For the umteenth time, I couldn't care less about the labor issues. I have always appreciated & respected the input from ALL the members on this site as being very knowledgable and informed on discussing the fine points of officiating. If I want to discuss labor issues I would log into a labor site. By the way..As I'm posteing this, a Raiders reciever has been hit with a violent helmet to helmet hit with no foul called. He is being removed on a stretcher. Earlier Tomlin had to cross the field to diffuse a fight. This is exactly what can & will happen when the officials are incapable of controlling the game. I am concerned about the INTEGRITY of the game...which is all but gone, and the SAFETY of the players...which is being compromised with each passing week. Trust me, I have no personal issue you whatsoever.

Broncos-Texans, 4:41 left in the 4th quarter. A Denver player suffered an injury and the referee announces that Denver will be charged with a timeout. He then announces that it was an "injury timeout" and that Denver won't be charged...

Looks like we are going to have an overturn in Denver. Thomas was ruled to have both feet down in the endzone for a TD, it appears the second foot did not come down in bounds. Tough call in real time it looked like a Touchdown. Can't get mad at the deep wings on this one.

So the usual Sunday night sum up.
1. On the whole, how would you rate the scabs?
2. Were the errors horrific enough for the phone call to Green tomorrow.
My own opinion most of the games I watched, the officiating was okay on the whole. A few big gaffes as described here of course but I don't think Scott Green should wait at home tomorrow morning for Roger's call. Do you?

Question from ATL-SD game with Jim Core crew:
33 seconds left in 1st half with clock running and SD called for false start. Chargers had one timeout remaining and penalty was assessed with yardage and a 10 second run off. I thought run off only occurred if there were no timeouts left? I don't recall ever seeing a run-off with timeouts still available. Did something change or have I been out in the sun too long? Other than this, officiating was of no concern in this game.

Which games did you watch!? 1. Ridiculously bad 2. If not the integrity of the game & safety will be even further compromised if that's possible!

Team has the choice whether to use the TO or take the 10 second run off

I saw the NFL red zone, and no game was egregious. I would like to know who the "supervisors" for each game are. A couple of them seem to have their nose in everything.

Pats-Ravens: No flag in the first 10 minutes of first quarter, with (6) skirmishes between the teams in that time span.....a total of (8) I believe in that quarter that took almost 45 minutes to play. The scabs have NO control or clue in this game.

The scabs have NO control or clue in this game. There will be calls to the respective coaches to get their athetes under control or heavy fines will be upcoming. Good reversal though on the spot although I'm not sure about picking up the flag on the Raven TD. Waiting for another replay of that.

I'm about 20 minutes behind on my DVR. But, through the first quarter it was very chippy. I wouldn't be surprised if the crew starts to flag sneezing in order to keep a lid on things.
