What crews did you see? What do/did you think of them?

one drive and Winter's crew does not call a 2 hand shove by a DB against a WR in the open field before the ball arrived
second drive, misses clear false start
not sure I saw the OPI that bailed out the Giants

Yup...two straight weeks Winter in the Meadowlands, today NYG-MIA. The over/under for accepted penalties is 12 (just checked with Vegas)....I'll take the over even though Mike thinks they missed a couple (against the Giants of course!)....

Good explanation by Green on a Jacksonville challenge. He is continuing to prove he could be in the playoffs this year.

Hochuli's crew has benn horrible so far, Most specifically Ron Torbert. He called a facemask when the defender was only holding on to the side of the pads and kind of jerked the runner down. It looked bad but was nowhere near a facemask. Torbert threw the first flag from 10 yards downfield so I am not sure how he could have seen a facemask. Mark Hittner was right next to the play and did not call a facemask. You could see from the body language as well as his discussion with Torbert and Hochuli that he did not agree with the facemask flag at all. Then Torbert called a holding call that was just nowehere near a hold. To me it just looked like a good pancake blaock. You are aloud to get knocked to the ground in football sometimes, right?

There was a fight on the sidelines with Percy Harvin and a Panther and punches were thrown. None of the officials saw it though. Can you use instant replay to see if punches are thrown?

I don't think so. The call has to be made by the officials on the field.

Winter's crew wasn't very sharp in the Meadowlands today. They called a ticky-tack OPI on Brandon Marshall and miss some obvious holds on both teams.
The crew gets a shaky 2.8 from me.

No. But, I'm sure the league will take a look.

Another phantom holding call against Steve Smith of the Panthers. This time it was thrown by Craig Wrolstad. Really not a good game for this crew at all.

Hochuli's crew ends the game with a 2.9 from me. Two phantom holding calls as well as a bad facemask call. That is only from what I saw.

I watched the final quarter and a half of Anderson's crew working in Saint Louis. They did well.

Green missed what might have been a forward lateral after a Jacksonville forced fumble on Houston but there were 3 linemen lateraling the ball so it was easy to miss.
